Everyone has places they want to live. Kentucky has always been one of mine. It all started while driving through it during my teenager years, then visiting family a few years later.
Broadcasting has been somewhat the same. Since middle school, my answer to the famous question, what do you want to be when you grow up? has always been, a news broadcaster.
After serving as a producer for two years while in college in California, I hit the air as a sports anchor and reporter in Lubbock, TX at KAMC. After two years, I made the switch to news where I would anchor and report for the next three years. Then, I couldn't resist coming to Kentucky and WKYT.
What I enjoy most about this business is the people I meet, all who come from different walks of life.
Please don’t hesitate to approach me when you see me on the streets or in a restaurant. Out to eat is usually where you’ll find me.
You can also catch my reports during the week and anchoring the weekend newscasts.
