When you hear Iowa, what do you think of? Well, let's see? It has a lot of corn? Now, I'm giving you something else to think about.

Born and raised in Davenport, Iowa, I'm thrilled to call Lexington home. Just a short seven hour drive southeast from my family, I'm finding Lexington to be the perfect fit.

A 2005 graduate from the University of Northern Iowa, I began my broadcast career as a one-man-band reporter in small-town Pennsylvania before working at television stations in Davenport and Cedar Rapids.

I don't have a “I've wanted to be a reporter since I was six speech.”

However, I was a contestant on “The Price Is Right” in 2004 while interning at “Dateline NBC” in Los Angeles. How's that?

Honestly, I'm just excited to be living and working in a city with southern hospitality and great food. And, oh yea, go Cats!
