Ever since I was a sophomore in High School, I’ve known what I have wanted to do with my life. Broadcast Journalism seemed to be the best route and it has led me here to WYMT-TV.
I am a 2009 graduate of Morehead State University, where I spent four years serving as a news and sports reporter for Morehead State Public Radio. Working at MSPR has allowed me to “learn the ropes” and has helped me develop into the reporter that I strive to be everyday. I also served as the sports producer for MSU-TV’s student produced news program “NewsCenter” as well as the sports anchor/producer. The experience I gained at MSU has prepared me for life after college and I would not trade it for anything in the world.
In the summer of my senior year, I interned at WKYT-TV in their sports department. Working with all of the professionals in Lexington reaffirmed what I wanted to do. I appreciate the opportunity they gave me.
I am very excited to be a part of the WYMT “Mountain Family.” I am so fortunate to be here.
Wes Fessler once said, "I work hard to be my best, but my family makes me better." My mother and father are my two biggest supporters and I would not be where I am today without them.
Outside of work, I enjoy seeing my family (when I can, of course!) I love sports, any and all, especially Morehead State Athletics and the Atlanta Braves!
If there’s a story out there that needs to be told, then send me an email or give me a call!
