I was born and raised in Knoxville Tennessee. Yes, I bleed orange. I am a Volunteer fan at heart, but I feel after living in Kentucky I have a little Wildcat in me as well.

My move to Hazard was actually one that I looked forward to for a long time. I interned at WYMT's sister station, WVLT in Knoxville for one year and everyone told me Hazard is a great place to start my career. They were right! I have loved every minute of this fast-paced life and the staff here is amazing. Everyone is very supportive and helpful, and every day I seem to learn something new. I enjoy meeting everyone in Eastern Kentucky. This is definitely a wonderful place to work and live.

I have two wonderful parents and a little sister four years younger than me. She is a student at UT but no matter how old she gets, she will always be my baby sister.

I am engaged to the man of my dreams and my best friend. We have actually spent majority of our relationship as best friends and we are now engaged to be married.
