I grew up a long way from Eastern Kentucky, but Kentucky is now my home. I am a native of Seattle, Washington and I am still partial to all Seattle sports teams. I made the move to Kentucky in 1998 and while attending Spalding University, I was a sports intern with WLKY News Channel 32.

The experience only made me want to do more in this business. So, I took a job in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as a Sports and News Reporter. I enjoyed covering sports and news, but it was in Tiger Stadium that I realized what I wanted to be. LSU played Kentucky. It was then I knew Kentucky was my home.

A short time later, I got the call to come back to Kentucky as a News Reporter with WYMT. I am truly living a dream. Each day is filled with new experiences and everyone here in Hazard has been great!

I am a huge sports fan and when I am not working, you will usually find me watching sports. I also like to bowl, work out and spend time with my wife and cat, Chocolate Moose.

I am glad to be back in Kentucky! But I’m still do not know who to root for, Louisville or Kentucky? If you see me out, say Hi and let me know what team I should go with, Cards or Cats!
