Kentucky is in need of individuals and families to open their home and heart to help children in need. This class will allow a chance to ask questions about becoming a foster and/or adoptive parents. Students will then participate in ten classes provided free of charge. To become certified background checks will be completed and a home evaluation must be passed prior to completion.

Foster/Adoptive Parent Training Informational Meeting

Kentucky is in great need of foster and adoptive families for children who for various reasons are unable to live in their own homes. This Informational Meeting is a time for questions and answers concerning the requirements of becoming a foster or adoptive parent. No commitment is necessary and all training and materials are free of charge. The date and time of the upcoming classes will be discussed at this meeting with input from those wanting to attend. Classes will be for individuals and couples over the age of 21 to be trained to be Foster/Adoptive Parents. Requirements are: complete 30 hours of training and be certified with the State of KY: Pass a background check: Have an current income to care for your current family: and live in a safe home with room for more.

Mindful Motherhood Training

A training for pregnant women in meditation, yoga and being present in everyday activities, such as driving and running errands. The training will help women to copes with the various emotions that occur during pregnancy and while raising an infant.
