Jim Beam invites all fathers and bourbon enthusiasts who are of legal drinking age to join 7th generation Beam Master Distiller and Jim Beam’s great-grandson Fred Noe, and his son Freddie, at the Jim Beam American Stillhouse for a VIP bourbon experience. Attendees will enjoy bourbon-inspired food from Fred’s Smokehouse, have an opportunity to participate in a tasting of America’s native spirit led by Fred himself and embark on a guided tour of the Jim Beam distillery.

Come see what’s new at the 12th Annual Blooming Bardstown Garden Tour, Marketplace and Auction being held June 13, 2015 in Bardstown, KY.
Beautiful private gardens are on this year’s self-guided tour that runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Ponds with peaceful waterfalls, vegetable gardens, creative outdoor rooms, container gardening, sun and shade gardens, and comfortable outdoor dining areas are in these Bardstown and Nelson County gardens. There will also be such features as pergolas, rain barrels, ornamental grasses, multi-level decks, wooded paths and enough garden art to keep you smiling all day. The tour begins at the Nelson County Extension Office at 317 S. Third, Bardstown, KY.
The Marketplace, which is free to attend, will be open at the Extension Office from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors can purchase garden tour tickets, grab a bite to eat and sign up for the door prizes. Local vendors will offer one-of-a-kind antiques and handmade, recycled and unique garden items for sale while the Kentucky Home Master Gardeners, who sponsor the event, will be selling annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs. They will also be selling hand-crafted items for the garden such as birdhouses, birdbaths, stepping stones, and uniquely planted containers.
The silent auction runs from 8 am to 2 pm. A live auction will take place from 10:30 to 11 am.
Tour tickets are $8 in advance, $10 day-of-tour and $7 for groups of 10 or more at the Extension Office at 317 S. Third and the Tourist Commission at One Court Square in Bardstown, KY.

Jim Beam® is kicking off Derby season with a Perfect Mint Julep Day Celebration on Thursday, April 30 at the Jim Beam distillery. Bourbon fans near and far who are of legal drinking age are invited to join seventh generation Beam Master Distiller Fred Noe for a day full of live music, delicious barbeque from Fred’s Smokehouse and samples of the Beam family mint julep recipe. Attendees will also be given an opportunity to meet whiskey authority Noah Rothbaum as he hosts the first-ever public reading of his newest release, “The Art of American Whiskey.”

Kentucky Wine & Vine Bus Tour
