Sleep in Safety; The Death of Octavia Hatcher
Jenny Wiley Theatre Pikeville Mainstage, 218 2nd Street Pikeville, Ky 41501
Octavia Hatcher was laid to rest in the unseasonably hot spring of 1891. Sleep in Safety tells the story of James and Octavia Hatcher's unthinkable horror and how others who succumbed to a mysterious sleeping sickness unexpectedly woke up. Based on the story of Octavia's mistaken burial and evidence of her subsequent awakening six feet under, Sleep in Safety will have you wondering if she still haunts the hills of Pikeville.
