Loudoun House, 209 Castlewood Drive, Lexington KY
More than 10,000 incandescent light bulbs are being collected Nov. 1 - Dec. 31, 2013 to create a large-scale, interactive sculpture of light to be on display in Triangle Park.
Light bulbs can be donated at Habitat for Humanity RESTORE, Lexington Herald-Leader, UK Federal Credit Union Hamburg location, and Lexington Art League.

"Ladies' Night Out"

The 7th District Women's Clubs are having a Special night for all the local ladies, Nov. 8, 2013, 6:00 pm-10:00pm. There will be a fashion show, door prizes, facials, a variety of venders, health advice, and lots of fun for all. Cost per ticket, $10.00 All proceeds go to agencies associated with the prevention of domestic violence.

The Salvation Army Christmas Breakfast Roast

This event kicks off The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign. Mayor Jim Gray, Coach John Calipari and Jim Host will be roasting Dr. Pearse Lyons of Alltech. Tickets are $50/each or $500 for a table of 10. Proceeds are used locally to change the lives of homeless women and children, hungry families and those who struggle with poverty.
