Bluegrass Heritage Museum, 217 South Main St., Winchester, Ky
Nancy Turner , Director of Winchester-Clark County Tourism, will be our guest speaker. She will discuss the MASSIE AFFAIR; a criminal trial that took place in Honolulu, Hawaii. Winchester native, Thomas Massie, along with his mother-in-law and several accomplices, was charged with murder in the death of well known local prizefighter, Joseph Kahahawai. Massie was the husband of Thalia Massie, who had brought charges that Kahahawai was one of a group of men that had raped her. All programs are free and take place at the Bluegrass Heritage Museum.
