Lace up your sneakers for the 2013 WALK FOR THE CURE ASHLAND!
Ashland's Central Park
We hope you will join us again this year to raise funds for breast health programs in our local community. Follow this link to register online or to print a registration form - http://bit.ly/AshlandWalkforCure.
Did you know that 75% of the net funds raised from this event stay right here in our local community? In April 2013 Komen Lexington funded programs at King’s Daughters Medical Center and Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital that provide screenings, diagnostics, treatment, education and support services for residents of our local community. The remaining 25 % of the funds raised are invested in research to find the cures. Those funds also have come back to our community as the University of Kentucky received Komen grant funds for groundbreaking breast cancer research. You helped make that happen and we thank you!
Please join us on August 17 in Ashland’s Central Park at 9:00 a.m. Together we can make a difference!

It’s a festival of fun, food and great music—from bluegrass to country to gospel to old time rock and roll for the last nine years at Ramey Memorial Park along the Licking River. For folks who come to enjoy the fellowship and daylong lineup of great music, Community Day is more than a wonderful summer diversion. It’s a means to help local nonprofits and organizations help others. Sponsored by the Magoffin County Community Foundation and hosted by the Salyersville National Bank, the annual event raises money for more than 18 participating nonprofits and community organizations. Community Day is just another way the Magoffin Country Community Foundation helps make giving back easy, worthwhile—and fun.

3rd Annual Bikes 4 Tikes Toy Ride
Walmart in Monticello,KY
We will be riding to UK Children’s Hospital in Lexington, KY to donate toys to the children. The cost of the ride is a $10.00 toy per rider. The toy needs to be new per hospital regulations because of health issues. Riders will draw at registration for age group so we can make sure we get the correct number of toys for each age group. If you would rather buy a toy before coming to registration please call me. This way I can explain the age groups to you and you can let me know which group you are buying for so I can remove that toy from the list. Anyone wanting to donate toys can call me and I will pick them up or you can bring them to the registration. After leaving the hospital we will be stopping to eat. Everyone join us in making a child smile.
