Locust Trace Agriscience Center (Fayette Co Public Schools)
Barktoberfest is an annual fundraising event for the Veterinary Assistant Program. Students will be providing discounted dog baths, nail trims, and assist with microchips. We will have vendors from the community, food, and demonstrations by the Kentucky Wildlife Center, UK4Paw therapy dog training, and Artisan Dog Training. We will also have dog games (such as "Best Trick") and pumpkin painting for kids. The Locust Trace Vet Clinic will even be providing discounted services on heartworm tests and fecal exams.

The ride will begin at Wildcat Harley, travel to the Natural Arch and Cumberland Falls and back to Harley. Cost 20.00 per rider/5.00 for additional rider. Fish fry to follow. Cost: 6.00. 100 percent of the proceeds to benefit our communities animals.

Scott County Humane Society's "Love and Life Adopt-a-thon" on March 31 and April 1 in Georgetown. Parade route: Main Street from Mulberry Street to Water Street. The only Kentucky event partnered with the ASPCA, more than 200 homeless pets from 19 adoption groups will be at the two-day adopt-a-thon.
