4th Annual Ride of a Lifetime Live Auction

The Ride of a Lifetime Live Auction returns to Kentucky Speedway for a fourth year on Friday, July 10! Race fans will once again have the opportunity to bid on the chance to ride with their favorite driver during the Parade Lap before the Quaker State 400 presented by Advance Auto Parts on Saturday, July 11.

The live auction will take place on Friday, July 10 on the Main Stage in the Display Area at 4:00 p.m. Bidder registration will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Fans can pre-register for the live auction again this year through the SCC website. Please stay tuned for that link closer to the event. If you pre-register online, you will receive a confirmation e-mail once registered and shorten the process for registration on-site the day of the event. When you arrive for the auction on Friday, July 10, you would only need to present your ID at the registration table and receive your pre-assigned bidder number.

Drivers participating in this year's Ride of a Lifetime include Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Danica Patrick, Joey Logano, Kasey Kahne, Kyle Larson, Jamie McMurray, Austin Dillon, Aric Almirola and Michael McDowell. Highlighting this year's rides will be JEFF GORDON'S LAST RIDE! Additional drivers will be added to the list as they are confirmed.

In addition to the Ride of a Lifetime experiences, racing memorabilia from your favorite drivers and teams will be available for auction. Cash and major credit cards will be accepted for payment. No checks please.


All Ride of a Lifetime winning participants must be at least 18 years of age and will be required to pass a background check. Please bring your ID with you to the auction, as our staff will need to see this when completing your participation paperwork. Once winners have completed and passed a background check, substitutions will not be accepted.

No rain checks or refunds will be issued. Winning bidders who will be participating in the Ride of a Lifetime Parade Lap fulfillment may bring only one (1) guest with them into the infield on Saturday, July 11. Both participants must be at least 18 years of age in order to participate. Only one (1) of these two (2) participants will be allowed to ride in the truck with their driver.

Each year we celebrate the generosity of our donors and the blessings of The Kentucky United Methodist Homes for Children and Youth through our Annual Day celebrations. This event is held by the Friends of the Children Board to raise funds for the residents in our care. Our Annual Day proceeds help to pay for special activities for our youth including birthday and graduation parties, special clothing needs, event tickets, room decor, etc. These items are the "extras" that make a young person's stay with us better.
