Redbud Garden Party

TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky (TOUR SEKY) invites you to celebrate Redbud Month April 19, 2013 at the Redbud Garden Party in Downtown Middlesboro. The event will be held from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm EDT at the American Association Building/Bell County Tourism Office, 2215 Cumberland Avenue Middlesboro, KY. The Bell County Tourism Commission, Discover Downtown Middlesboro, Middlesborough Garden Club and Cumberland Park Garden Club are partnering with TOUR SEKY to sponsor the free event.
Refreshments will be served and redbud seedlings will be available for participants. A ladies hat contest will also be held during the event. The categories are: Most Original Hat, I Can’t Believe She Wore That-Crazy, Crazy Hat and the Royal Hat (The best of the best hat).
The 2012 Redbud Trails photography contest entries will be on display and everyone at the event will have a chance to vote on their favorite pictures. The winning photos will be featured in the 2013 Redbud Trails marketing materials. Voting will only be held during the event, but the photos will remain on display through April 26, 2013.
Redbud photo entries must be submitted by April 10, 2013. There is a $15 contest entry fee. Photos must be full color and contain an entire Redbud Tree, blossom or branch. The photographs must be on a CD and a full color 10x8 un-matted and un-framed hard copy of the image is required. Entries must be submitted with payment to the TOUR SEKY offices in Somerset, KY to be eligible for consideration. Brian Fisher of Fisher's ATV World will be on hand to film and hang out with fans.
We will be attempting to break two world records: Most ATV's in a Parade and Most UTV's in a Parade.
Best of all, the event and riding is FREE! Colt Ford Concert will be the only charge of $15.

Ride for Cody: Benefit ATV Ride for Local Marine

This will be an benefit event hosted by the Holler Crawlers ATV Club. They will be doing guided rides on Wilderness Trail Off-Road Park and surrounding areas. There will be some live music later that evening. We are raising money for the family of a local Marine who was severely injured in Afghanistan. There is no minimum donation, we ask that people give whatever they can afford.
