2nd Annual Jordan Light Foundation Charity Dinner
Oct 15, 2011 TBA
Ramada Inn of Paintsville, Ky
The Jordan Light Foundation, Inc. has completed one year inception and are proud to announce that the organization has been able to assist over 50 families in the past year. As many are aware, the foundation was organized after the death of our precious seven year old Jordan. Jordan was such a wonderful blessing during his seven years here on Earth. He has taught us many life lessons that will forever change us spiritually and emotionally.
Jordan underwent four major brain surgeries, 63 treatments of radiation and oral chemotherapy prior to losing the battle. As we spent many long nights in three different Ronald McDonald Houses and at different Children Hospitals, from Cincinnati, St. Jude, and finally Lucille Packard, Stanford University, CA it was apparent that there was a huge need for assistance with expenses that insurance companies did not cover. We would see family after family struggling with the emotional, financial and spiritual needs that come with the experience of a medical crisis.
The mission of the Jordan Light Foundation Inc. is to provide awareness, support, and funding for families with a financial medical crisis. Applications may be taken over the phone or online at www.thejordanlightfoundation.org.
A Charity Dinner to benefit The Jordan Light Foundation will be held on
October 15, 2011 at the Ramada Inn of Paintsville, Ky. We are expecting 250 guests who will purchase pre-sold tickets for $100.00 each. During this event, guests will receive dinner, along with live entertainment, and door prizes. New this year will be a silent auction. Last year’s event was a great success, raising almost $10,000 for the Foundation.
We are requesting that you consider our foundation as part of your charitable giving for this year by purchasing a ticket for this exciting upcoming event or a table of 8 for an organization. The organization will be honorably mentioned at the Event, as well as in several local newspapers/press releases carrying the Event.
Help support this LOCAL non -profit organization, all donations are tax deductible. Please contact me at the above numbers or contact the event coordinator, Karen Sergent at 606-793-2735 for further information.
