Memorial Day Service

Barbourville Cemetery, Barbourville KY
Speaker will be Col. Scott Campbell, 149th MEB Commander. Col. Campbell led the brigade in successful mission in support of Operation New Dawn in Iraq. There will be a 21 gun salute by the 138th Fires Brigade from Lexington Ky. The Barbourville Community Chorus will sing patriotic songs. The raising and lowering of our flag, the playing of taps and the firing of cannon will conclude the service. Please join us in remembering our war heroes - the brave men and women who have kept our nation free.

Cost: $5 for current Girl Scouts, $17 for all other girls (includes $12 membership fee)*

Energy makes everything GO! Energy is the power behind everything: TV, iPods, trains, cars, hair driers, heating and cooling buildings and also the power that allows us to think, breath, dream, walk and grow. Get Moving and learn about the importance of energy conservation which includes having fun with plants and energy, comparing light bulbs, repurposing recyclables (recycle crafts) and lots more. All girls will receive the Girl Scout Get Moving Journey Book. Please bring a sack lunch.
