Pink Out for Pyddney

Sep 27, 2012 6:15 P.M.

Henry Clay High School Lexington
Join Henry Clay Soccer for Second Annual Pink Out for Pyddney
Please join the Henry Clay Boys Soccer program for the second annual Pink Out for Pyddney on September 27 during the game against Scott County at Henry Clay High School in Lexington. The Henry Clay team will be wearing pink uniforms in memory of Pyddney Jones, who lost her courageous battle against breast cancer last year. Pyddney was an ardent supporter of the team, both when she had children on the team and after the untimely death of her son, Murphy. After their loss of Murphy everyone watched in awe as the Pyddney and her husband, David, began helping ESL/Refugee players integrate into the soccer community in honor of their son and this support has continued for years.
Please join us on September 27 for the JV game at 6:15 and or the Varsity game at 8:00 PM. We will have a tribute to Pyddney prior to the varsity game and a special guest will bring out the game ball! We want a complete Pink Out for Pyddney, everyone wearing pink that evening will receive free admission to the games….so wear PINK! Donations will be taken for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Lexington Affiliate.
