Pisgah Day in the Country

Pisgah Pike,Firegate #24, Versailles, KY 40383A beautiful country "fair" setting for a huge yard sale. Including household items, clothes, plants, books, etc and a bake sale. Lots of fun for the kids. Pony rides. This year there will be a driving tour from the event through the Pisgah Historic District, Brittany and Winstar Farms. The tours (hosted by Unbridled Horse Farm Tours) will begin at 10, 11, 12 and 1. Lunch (hot dogs and sandwiches offered at a minimal charge). This is a fundraiser event to aid the Pisgah Community Historic District Association in beautifying and preserving the Pisgah District.

Unassuming English shoe salesman, Harry Witherspoon, is forced to take the embalmed body of his recently-murdered Atlantic City uncle on a vacation to Monte Carlo to show him the sights and should he succeed in passing his uncle off as alive, Harry stands to inherit $6,000,000. If not, the Universal Dog Home of Brooklyn, or worse, the near sighted girlfriend who killed him in the first place will inherit it all. A little bit of 'Guys and Dolls', a little 'Weekend at Bernies' and always hilarious!!

Clear Creek Baptist Churck, 30 Pinckard Pike, Versailles, KYCruise-In to show off your car, truck or bike at the first Clear Creek Cruise-In. The event is free and no pre-registration is required. It's open to all makes and models. If you don’t have an entry, please come out to show your support and enjoy the great line-up! Hot dogs and sodas available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the Clear Creek Baptist Church Children's and Youth Ministry Services.

Kentucky Wine & Vine Bus Tour

Vineyards in Owenton, Capital Cellars in Frankfort, and Prodigy Vineyards and Winery in
Versailles. A delicious lunch will be served at Elk Creek. Along the way learn about the
winemaking process, see the gift shops, and of course enjoy the tastings. The all-day tour departs
from Nicholasville at 8:30 a.m., Friday, May 18 at Kentucky Bank, 920 Main St. Tickets: $65 per person.
