GleanKY will be hosting their third annual picnic-style fundraiser, Burgers & Beats, on Sunday, July 19th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wallace Station in Versailles, Kentucky. Burgers & Beats features live music from Quintessence, delicious food prepared by Chef Ouita Michel, dessert from Crank & Boom, and games and activities for children. Glass Studio Trip with Solaris Art GalleryJ

We are to meet at the Solaris Art Gallery in Versailles at 8 am Saturday morning. A limo will take us to the Brazee Glass Studio where we may be doing a one or two hour workshop where we create our own glass work of art. Then we lunch at the Sleepy Bee Cafe and briefly visit the Blue Manatee Bookstore. Then our limo takes us back to the Solaris Art Gallery in Versailles and should arrive about 5pm or 6pm

Spring Garden Tour and Plant Sale Date Announced
A project to support Coats and Shoes for Woodford County Children

The 2015 Woodford County Woman’s Club Spring Garden Tour and Plant Sale will be held Saturday, May 30th (Rain or Shine) from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This spring’s tour will feature eight wonderfully diverse gardens in Versailles and Woodford County.
The gardens on this tour are located in both town and country. You will have an opportunity to view a formal English garden, a classic peony garden, a hellebore garden and a newly established berry garden. You will visit intimate town gardens and a shade loving cottage garden with a quaint garden shed. Another garden on the tour will feature KOI ponds connected by a waterfall and stream, a rock garden, a variety of garden rooms and unusual conifer plantings. You will visit a garden with a working labyrinth surrounded by a variety of perennials, vegetable gardens with a wide variety of plantings and a colorful wildflower garden. A special opportunity is awaiting you to travel along winding tree lined avenues to view award winning perennial beds on a well-known horse farm. Another stop on the tour you will discover a lovely formal designed entry garden along with a naturalistic side and back garden designed to have a meadow feel and then experience a unique, wonderful home tour on this 1800’s distillery site.
Before, during or after the tour stop by the Little House at 247 Lexington Avenue and visit our Garden Plant Sale.
This is a special garden tour you do not want to miss!
A portion of the proceeds from the Garden Tour will benefit Coats and Shoes for Kids Project for our Woodford County Children and other Woodford County Charities.

A beautiful country "fair" setting for a huge yard sale. Including household items, clothes, plants, books, etc and a bake sale. Lots of fun for the kids. Pony rides. This year there will be a driving tour from the event through the Pisgah Historic District, Brittany and Winstar Farms. The tours (hosted by Unbridled Horse Farm Tours) will begin at 10, 11, 12 and 1. Lunch (hot dogs and sandwiches offered at a minimal charge). This is a fundraiser event to aid the Pisgah Community Historic District Association in beautifying and preserving the Pisgah District.

Kentucky Wine & Vine Bus Tour

Vineyards in Owenton, Capital Cellars in Frankfort, and Prodigy Vineyards and Winery in

winemaking process, see the gift shops, and of course enjoy the tastings. The all-day tour departs
