Pittie Please, Find A Cure Event
Aug 26, 2012 11:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M.
England-Idlewild Park
Good Deeds For Bullied Breeds is teaming up with Save our Shelter Dogs to bring you the fourth annual Pittie Please, Find A Cure walk. This walk brings together breeds that are commonly discriminated against, while raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This year we will splitting donations with Save Our Shelter Dogs, an all breed rescue. While we strive to get as many "bullied" breeds to this event as possible, we do not discriminate. All dogs...big, small, senior, blind, deaf, and chubby are invited.
This is our most important walk yet with this being a big year for pit bulls, Ohio reversed their statewide BSL and the city of Cincinnati recently ended their pit bull ban. This year also marks a new beginning for one of GD4BB's co-founders, she had a double lung transplant last fall due to Cystic Fibrosis. Her transplant was possible because of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Fundraisers like this are truly saving lives everyday, both human and canine.
