Pathfinders of Perry County Geocache Trail Grand Opening

Nov 24, 2012 10:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M.

Perry County Park, Picnic Shelter near Playground
Thinking of ways to work off Thanksgiving Dinner? The Pathfinders of Perry County Kids Club invite you to join us for the Grand Opening of the first Ranger Rick Geocache Trail in the state of Kentucky. Geocaching is a global scavenger hunt game where participants find hidden treasure using handheld GPS units or smartphones. We had a blast learning how to geocache and hiding our caches along the hiking trail above Perry County Park. We hope you have fun searching for them. The caches contain educational materials about wildlife provided by Ranger Rick and information about Pathfinders Kids Club. This is a great geocache trail to take the kids on. For a great day of hiking, meet us at the Picnic shelter closest to the playground at Perry County Park on Saturday, November 24th between 10am and 2pm. For more information call 487-3210.
