Cats to play East Tennessee State Thursday in New Orleans

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky coach John Calipari is happy the
Wildcats nabbed a No. 1 seed, but he doesn't believe the NCAA
selection committee did any favors for the SEC champions.

The Wildcats watched the bracket unveiled Sunday night at
Calipari's home in Lexington. The party started late because
Kentucky had to fly back from Nashville, Tenn., where they beat
Mississippi State in overtime in the Southeastern Conference
tournament title game.

Kentucky will face East Tennessee State on Thursday in New
Orleans. After that would be a tough second-round game against Wake
Forest or Texas, the nation's top team earlier this season.

Should the Wildcats advance to the regional final, awaiting them
could be No. 2 seed West Virginia - the Big East tournament

"There's no easy road," Calipari said.

Hey Mike you must be a Duke Puke fan. Why don't you move where you can root for those bush of losers. Also I'd be very careful calling people from ky rednecks, you just might get that break you're looking for (a broken nose). How much respect do the fans of Ky need to show when Nashville was 75-80% big blue. Jeff I agree how can that committee leave out Miss St.. I guess they were afraid to see to many good dominate team like the cats, Thats why they put that whimpy team Minesota in. By the way Mike lets see some respect from you when the cats make it to the final game.

I dont see an easy bracket, nor do i find MISSISSIPPI STATE in any bracket. What was the bracket committee doing during the game yesterday? There is a team that had a chance to embarrass someone in the tournament.
