Our work week is off and running on a decent weather note for much of central and eastern Kentucky. The pleasant temps will hang around as we head into the first few days of October.
Highs for Tuesday and Wednesday will run in the mid to upper 70s for many areas. Skies will be partly sunny with only a small threat for a shower or storm.
The storm threat will increase for Thursday as a cold front gets a little closer to the state. That front will move in here late Friday into Saturday and will bring increasing rain chances. Gusty winds and much cooler air will move in behind that front over the weekend.
