Another cold day is wrapping up across central and eastern Kentucky. While we get set to warm things up, another plunge of arctic air is lurking for early next week.
Thursday will start very cold and end milder with upper 40s and low 50s throughout the state.
50s will move in for Friday and 60s for Saturday as a shot of showers races through. This will set the stage for even milder temps in the 60s by Sunday and Monday. That will be ahead of a big storm system across the plains. This bad boy will make a run at the Great Lakes by Monday night and will drag another arctic front through here.
The air coming in by Tuesday and Wednesday may be as cold or colder than what we have now. It may also produce some snow during this time.
