We are less than two days away from Christmas and holiday travel and last minute shopping are in effect!

Shoppers packed Fayette Mall looking for those last minute deals and presents. "I do this every year" explained one shopper, "it is a family tradition for us -- we enjoy the crowds and the hustle and bustle."

Many shoppers also said they thought the mall was more crowded this year than last year.

Traffic wrapped around the Fayette Mall as drivers tried to make their way in and out. At one point the line was almost fifteen minutes long to exit the mall.

The Fayette Mall is open until 10:00 PM this evening, Macy's is open until midnight. On Saturday, Christmas Eve, the mall will open at 6:00 AM and stay open until 6:00 PM, all for those seriously last minute shoppers.
