Heavy rain will be the issue through the first half of the day. Significant snow & sleet will be the call during the afternoon through tomorrow. Look for almost impassable travel in some spots tomorrow.
Good Sunday morning to you! We’re starting off on a chilly note this morning with temperatures in the thirties across the Bluegrass. The return of the mild air begins today, as highs climb into the mid to upper fifties this afternoon. A cold front continues to work across the state, but this will not impact temperatures or bring us any rain chances.
Rain does creep back into the forecast to kick off the work week. We could see some scattered showers start to build into our southern zones early Monday morning, drifting into central and eastern Kentucky and lasting throughout the afternoon. Highs Monday should reach the 60s for most of us, and the warming trend only continues from there. By Wednesday, temperatures return to the Fall-like mid to upper 60s.
The warmth is followed by another cold front that’s set to bring some nasty weather our way in time for trick-or-treating. Temperatures will drop back into the fifties and even upper forties by the end of the week.
