Officials estimate the U.S. Postal Service will handle 800 million pieces of mail Monday. The monday before Christmas is typically the post office's busiest day of the year.
If you want a package to arrive in time for Christmas, here's a few deadlines to be aware of.
Tuesday is the deadline for first class mail. If you're using priority mail, you can wait until Wednesday. You're last chance will be Thursday, but only if you're using express mail.
