Chris Gordon never expected his Christmas morning would start off the way it did. "Around 2:00 AM or so there were sirens and cop cars and stuff flying from each end of the road" explains Gordon. "They just seem to just fly on the drive way and its pretty rough over there and that kind of let me know that something really serious was going on".
Gordon's gut instinct was right -- a man, who neighbors identify as Leroy Richardson was fatally shot. His son, Joe Richardson was critically injured. "You're kind of up the rest of the night whats going on and whats happened."
Especially when you live just down the road and your two little girls are upstairs sleeping ... anxiously waiting for Santa to arrive "The little bitty one didn't know what the say, the other one is seven and eight and she's pretty touched by things and shes pretty upset."
Folks in the neighborhood we talked to say that they don't believe this just was a random shooting-they think that who ever did this knew the two men and that it was possibly drug related.
Police were looking for 36-year-old William Ross in connection with the shooting. We're told he turned himself into authorities on Sunday night. He is charged with murder and assault.
