WKYT | Lexington, Kentucky | Weather Forecast & Radar

The warm and stormy trend marches on

Heading out this evening you will need the umbrella as the scattered showers and storms will continue. Once we head into the overnight hours things will be calmer, but we still can't rule out the chance of rain. Tomorrow looks much like what we saw today where there will be a small chance of rain during the morning and better chances of spotty showers & t'storms during the afternoon. Highs tomorrow will settle in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Monday and Tuesday will be VERY warm as our highs surge ahead of the next front in the upper 80s to possibly 90°! Both days will show a slight chance of rain as most should stay dry. Going into Wednesday is when the front arrives. That will be accompanied by shower and thunderstorms. Some of these will show strong to severe potential with main threats being strong winds and hail. Things will start to calm down as we head into the weekend.
