The change to complete snow continues to work southward across Kentucky. Snow rates will come in around 1" to 2" per hour. Those rates could be even higher under some of the more intense bands.
SCOTT CO, Ky. (WKYT) - The Scott County Fire Department tells WKYT that lightning struck two homes today during a storm.
One home was struck by lightning on Chopin Way and another home was hit on Ruffian Trail.
Officials tell us there were no fire conditions at either home and no apparent electrical damage.
They say there was only a light haze around the home and no one was injured in either incident.
Officials also say they have had reports of hail during the lightning storm, but no further damage to the area.
