Snow line is beginning to crash into parts of central Kentucky. The rate of snow will pick-up this evening and into the overnight. Some of these snow bands could produce 1"-2" per hour at times.
We have a nasty storm system heading our way before the week is over. This will cause all kinds of problems for the kiddos making their candy rounds on Halloween.
Between now and then, our temps do become much milder. Highs for Tuesday will hit the low 60s for many areas with an isolated thunderstorm on the move. Wednesday will feature even warmer temps in the upper 60s to around 70. We will also run the risk for a shower or thunderstorm.
A potent fall storm will move from the plains into the Great Lakes on Halloween. This will drag a cold front across our region with heavy rain and thunderstorms likely. Winds may gust to 30-40mph at times.
Much colder air moves in by the coming weekend.
