Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
We have another very cold night ahead of us. Temps by Saturday morning will drop into the middle 20s for most areas. A few clouds will increase during the day Saturday with highs in the low 50s.
A cold front arrives Sunday morning and may spit out a few showers. Winds will be gusty as temps hang around 50 degrees for most of the day.
Milder air is on the way for early next week with temps in the low 60s. A storm system will roll our way by the middle of next week and will bring some showers our way by Tuesday. Heavy rain and storms may be around by Wednesday into Halloween. Much colder air will follow that storm.
