A strong cold front is blowing across the bluegrass state this evening and this will usher in a blast of early October temps. We will be near record lows over the next few mornings as readings dip into the upper 40s to low 50s.
Afternoon highs for back to school Wednesday will only reach the low 70s under mostly sunny skies. Highs will stay in the 70s for Thursday as we keep the dry weather.
Moisture moves back in by late Friday into the weekend and will produce scattered showers and storms.
