We’re bringing the science of weather to your classroom with the First Alert Defender Class. This program is a fun interactive way for your students to learn about the ins and outs of weather and meteorology. We cover all the basics of weather including tornadoes, hurricanes and severe weather safety. Your students will have a chance to discuss weather extremes here in the United States and in Kentucky along with getting a behind the scenes look at the WKYT First Alert Center. The program is full of neat graphics and videos and should be easy for your students to follow, no matter what the grade level. We look forward to coming to your school soon.
