Preliminary Research Shows Aspirin May Lower Risk Of Adult Onset Asthma

Researchers say aspirin might stop asthma from developing, but don't start taking it for that purpose yet.

A new study found daily use of the drug offered a 22 percent lower risk of adult onset asthma. However, the research is preliminary and more needs to be done to prove the link. Also, aspirin isn't for people who already have the condition, for some patients it can actually make the condition worse.
