$1 Million Powerball ticket sold in northern Kentucky

Louisville, Ky (WKYT) - While Kentucky didn’t sell the $337 million Powerball jackpot ticket from Wednesday night's drawing, the state will be home to a new millionaire. The Kentucky Lottery says a ticket sold in northern Kentucky is worth $1,000,000.

The winning ticket was sold at the Speedway #8513 at 631 Donaldson Highway in Erlanger. The winning numbers in Wednesday's drawing were: 6 – 27 – 46 – 51 – 56 POWERBALL 21.
The winning Kentucky ticket matched the first five numbers but not the Powerball to win the game’s second prize of $1,000,000.

One person matched all the correct numbers, for the $337 million prize. That ticket was sold at a gas station in the small Michigan town of Lapeer, about 45 miles north of Detroit.

As for the million dollar ticket sold in Kentucky, the Lottery says the ticket holder should sign the back of it immediately. The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
