Reward offered for information in Johnson County burglaries

Posted: Thu 7:07 PM, Aug 26, 2010

A one thousand dollar reward is offered for information leading to arrests in a string of burglaries in Johnson County.

The sheriff's department is investigating 12 different break-ins in the Thelma community.

Victims say the thieves are taking electronics, medication, and other small expensive items.

Investigators think a man could be working with an accomplice to help him transport the items.

"He was driving a bicycle at the time of the burglaries occurred. Other information states he's in a van, parking it somewhere and walking to the residence, burglarizing the home, then coming back to the van and fleeing the area." Says Sgt. Matt Ferguson with the Johnson County Sheriff's Department.

If you have any information, call the Johnson County Sheriff's Department.
