The family resource and youth services centers are celebrating their 20th anniversary.
The celebration kicked off in Pikeville Friday with a luncheon for coordinators.
The organization helps underprivileged children with whatever they need.
"We have so many kids who are underprivileged and with the help of the centers, they get clothing, coats for the winter, shoes, and if it was not for the centers, you wonder how they would get that." Says State Representative Hubert Collins.
"Made a tremendous impact in the lives of families and kids. It's just been a tremendous program and made a huge difference in the lives." Says Michael Denney, the Program Director for Youth Services Centers in Kentucky.
There will be more anniversary celebrations in other counties throughout the school year.
