WYMT Severe Weather Alert

We're tracking the possibility of more storms rolling through today, with some of them being strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center has the entire area under a slight risk for severe weather through this evening. The main threats at this point look to be wind and hail. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as needed.

Pike County man accused of beating his wife

A Pike County man is accused of severely beating his wife with a table leg from a piece of furniture.

Hospital officials notified police of the victims injuries.

Robert Hatfield of McCarr is charged with second degree domestic violence and resisting arrest.

Police say the beating took place at the couples home Sunday.
