Former inmate sentenced in prison stabbing

A former Eastern Kentucky prison inmate learns his punishment for attacking a corrections officer.

32-year-old Adam Oliveri stabbed the guard multiple times at the Big Sandy Prison in Martin County in 2008.

He was found guilty in april and sentenced to 17 and a half years in prison on Thursday.

Oliveri will begin that sentence when he finishes previous sentences on drug, weapons and manslaughter charges.
