Grand Jury To Consider Charges Against Couple Accused Of Stealing Medication

We have an update in the case of a couple accused of stealing thousands of pills from an Eastern Kentucky pharmacy.

A Harlan County grand jury will now consider charges against William Scott Stacey and his wife, Stacy Stacey. Police arrested the couple last month and say they stole thousands of prescription pills from the Cumberland Drug Company.

The Stacey's have pleaded not guilty. Both are still in jail under a $5,000 dollar bond each.

Operation UNITE officials say their investigation is ongoing and there could be more charges.
