A tractor-trailer hauling garbage overturned in Perry County Monday morning, creating a traffic nightmare for some drivers.
The accident happened on Highway 15 just after seven.
Police say the driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to Hazard ARH with minor injuries.
No other vehicles were involved.
Clean-up efforts got underway immediately but took nearly eight hours until all the debris was cleared from the road.
Police say they are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
