Dakota Yonts died more than seven years ago.
His foster father, Jeffrey Allen was convicted of Dakota's murder four years ago, but that verdict was overturned by the Kentucky Supreme Court.
A Letcher County jury returned a verdict in the case.
They found him guilty, and recommended that he spend life in prison.
