A Perry County man who was supposed to go to trial Monday enters a guilty plea.
Court officials say Joe Napier made the plea deal last week.
Napier pleaded guilty to assault and arson.
He originally faced an attempted murder charge.
Napier was accused of trying to burn his brother alive in Perry county last year.
Napier will be sentenced november 29th.
This is the second time napier has tried to plead guilty.
A judge rejected the first plea bargain.
