School System Closed Monday Due To Staph Concerns

All Pike County schools are closed Monday for cleaning due to staph infection concerns.

Superintendent Roger Wagner says the cleaning will cover all schools in the district along with school buses and outdoor playgrounds. He says most reports of staph infection came from the district's high schools and no additional cases were reported as of Friday.

Pike County Schools will reopen Tuesday.
