Cumberland Bridge In Need Of Repair

An Eastern Kentucky bridge in need of repair is a top priority for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Officials say they still don't have the money they need to reconstruct the Billips Avenue Bridge in the city of Cumberland. City officials say the Army Corp's project manager has a new design and a building team ready to go, but they're waiting for federal funding.

Congress has not sent any appropriations bills to the president so far this fiscal year.
