Police in southern Kentucky are searching for a man they believe is involved in at least two identity theft cases.
Police say the man has already stolen more than one thousand dollars and they hope specific details on the truck he was driving will help them find their man
What looks like a black plastic cover over the taillights of a newer mode Ford Ranger pickup is just one of the clues police hope will lead them to the man caught on tape in a surveillance video from Community Trust Bank in London.
“Each victim had identity theft, credit cards, wallets, all that stuff,” Sergeant Daniel Richardson said.
This man who police say is probably in his 20s or early 30s used one stolen card at a gas station before he was caught on tape at this ATM machine.
So far he's stolen more than one thousand dollars.
“More or less we're hoping somebody can identify this truck, because this truck is not something you can go to the dealership and buy,” Sergeant Robinson said.
Police say the tires are custom-made.
“They're more of a lower profile tire. Instead of the sidewalls being real big like on most vehicles they're probably real slender, real small,” Sergeant Robinson said.
The wheels are also unique.
“The wheels, they're shiny, they're like a spoke wheel almost, instead of the five stars or just natural wheels you see on a vehicle they're after market. They're really shiny, there's no center caps inside the wheel,” Robinson said.
If you recognize this man or the truck he's driving, call London Police.
