Campton Resident Receives 5 Years For Drug Trafficking

CAMPTON - ­ A Wolfe County resident has been sentenced to five years in prison
on a drug trafficking charge, said Commonwealth Attorney Darrell Herald.

Brenda Kaye Banks, age 61, of Campton, appeared for sentencing before
Circuit Judge Frank Allen Fletcher on Thursday, November 8.

Banks was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance
after selling Morphine to an undercover police officer on March 16, 2005,
said UNITE Prosecutor Bruce Herald.
