Plant expanding, will add 160 jobs

SOMERSET, Ky. (AP) - A Somerset plant is expanding, creating 160
new jobs with an investment of nearly $8 million.
Hendrickson USA located in Somerset in 2007 and makes heavy-duty
suspensions, axle systems and springs for commercial vehicles. It
will produce semi-trailer axles, suspensions and related components
in its new 100,000-square-foot facility.
Gov. Steve Beshear's office says the Kentucky Economic
Development Finance Authority has given preliminary approval for
tax incentives up to $3.2 million for the project.
