Date Set For Perry County Murder Trial

A trail date is set for a Perry County accused of killing a man last month.

Tonya Henson is charged with murder in connection with the death of 70 year old Kenneth Clay.

Clay was found dead in his Perry County home in October. Henson allegedly hit Clay over the head with a hammer then stabbed him several times.

Henson is also charged with theft by unlawful taking and tampering with physical evidence. She pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Her trial is set for April 28th next year.
