Threats, Shooting Leads To Wanton Endangerment Charges

A south-central Kentucky man accused of shooting and making threats against another man is now charged with wanton endangerment.

Kentucky State Police say Jerry Cornett of Stanford threatened to kill Randall Taylor and then shot Taylor in the face and arm with a shotgun. Taylor was treated and released from Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.

Cornett faces numerous charges of wanton endangerment and possession of a defaced firearm. The incident is still under investigation.
